Rosanky Property & Land For Sale

It's easy to find a gorgeous Rosanky property for sale in the listings above. Named after Ed Rosanky whose family settled the area in 1854, Rosanky was initially only a loosely organized community with a small school and post office and a few churches. Not much has changed in Rosanky since those days as the community is still very small with a population of below 500 people. Since then, Rosanky has maintained it's small community status throughout its history, occasionally adding a few general stores and other establishments before it became an oil-testing site during the 1920s. Today, Rosanky is largely a trading point for a variety of livestock and livestock-raising operations with access to a local convenience store, diner, gas station, and a western store for farming and ranching supplies. Residents usually travel to nearby Bastrop for other shopping and dining options. Residents who are not a part of the local farming and ranching businesses tend to commute to Bastrop, Smithville and even Austin for employment before returning to their homes.
