Texas Arbor Day was Friday November 7. Bastrop Area Real Estate had the opportunity to partner with Fourth Grade Foresters to provide over 2500 Evergreen Loblolly Pine Trees to every fourth grader in Bastrop County. The trees are betweeen 12 and 18 inches tall and packaged in a clear plastic bag that includes planting and care instructions. The new Texas Arbor day offers a chance to reach and teach all Texas fourth graders (and their families) that its important to plant these types of  trees now in the cooler weather when they have the best chance to survive.
