Mr. Michael Torrence
Jimmie Ann Vaughn Company
908 Main Street
Bastrop, Texas,
78602
Dear Michael,
Terri and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your hard work and efforts toward our recent home purchase in
Bastrop . Your professionalism and excellent knowledge of the real estate market in
Bastrop were especially appreciated.
From the onset of our working relationship, your attention to the details of what we were looking for in a property made us feel certain we had chosen the right Realtor to work with. Every aspect of our experience in working with you went exceptionally well, from the referrals you gave us for inspections, your negotiations with the seller’s Realtor, and your work with our lender.
In addition, your continued offers of assistance in assuring we have settled in Bastrop, to the information you have provided to us to make the transition from Austin easier (school information and football schedules!), have been another example to us of how you continually go “the extra mile.”
Again, Michael, we appreciate what you have done for us in helping in the culmination of our dream, which began last summer, to get out of
Austin and find the ideal property in the Lost Pines. We look forward to being a part of the growing community here in
Bastrop .
It goes without saying that should anyone we know want to relocate to
Bastrop , we will certainly refer them to you!
Sincerely,
Terri and Fritz Hocker
My wife and I are new to Central Texas, moving from
San Francisco, CA . When we arrived in Texas, we began searching for a house in
Marble
Falls . Not being successful in the
Marble
Falls area in finding a house to meet our needs, we expanded the radii of our search until we found listings that interested us in the
Bastrop locale. After inquiring with an Austin realtor about those listings, the realtor referred us to Jimmie Ann Vaughan Company in
Bastrop . Michael Torrence returned the call and offered to meet with us. He showed us several properties that were interesting. Finally, we settled on the one we ultimately purchased.
Once we found the house we liked it was time to make an offer. My wife and I didn’t want to haggle with the owners over the sales price, so we sought Michael’s input on a fair offer. Michael analyzed the market conditions, sales activity in the area, and the time the house had been “on the market.” We decided on an offer that was less than the asking price, but an offer that the owner was pleased to accept. The offer saved us a significant amount of money.
Michael grew up in
Bastrop , so he is familiar with the geography and actvity there. He showed us several developments near and not so near to
Bastrop that offered different degrees of privacy and services. Also we drove out to
Bastrop
State Park where Michael showed us the facilities and the trail system that interested me.
Michael continued to help us during the closing time. He made several trips to the house to answer various questions we had. Finally closing arrived and we signed the documents. After closing, we traveled around
Bastrop to the utility companies to activate services. During the entire process Michael was professional, courteous, and went out of his way to facilitate the process. We appreciate what Michael did for us before and after the sale. In the past we have used several real estate agents in California and
Texas . Michael’s attention to our needs far surpassed the services we have received in the past.
